GOSPORT and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS) will be throwing open its doors on July 15.
The event, which starts at 11am, will let members of the public meet GAFIRS frontline lifeboat crew and members of other emergency services for a day of displays including demonstrations from GAFIRS lifeboat crews and the Coastguard Helicopter.
As well as displays from local emergency services the day will also feature refreshments from the Stokes Road Women's Institute and a raffle.
GAFIRS events coordinator, Jake Robinson said: "This event is a great opportunity to see first hand the work local emergency services do and have a closer look at the work GAFIRS Lifeboat does to keep the waters safe around The Solent"
GAFIRS is also on the look-out for raffle prizes for the day. Those interested in donating should email fundraising@gafirs.org.uk.
