YARMOUTH Gaffers Festival is back and promoting two new Island bands in its evening entertainment on The Quay.
Thousands of people will flock to the town for the three day event starting on Friday June 2.
Nakamarra and Lucid, along with Star Tribute, who will perform favourites from the 60’s through to the 80’s, will be in the marquee on the Quay on Friday.
The following night, an evening of rock and roll is planned with the 11-piece band, the Regular Joes, starring Miss Annie and supported by Company B-UK.
There will also be a special appearance by Rule the World (Take That Tribute Band) which will complete the evening's entertainment.
The weekend is free, other than tickets to the nightly entertainment in the marquee, and includes continentals stalls, farmers' market, vintage and classic car display and street acts throughout the day, as well as Gaff rigged boats racing on The Solent.
A new experience will be Titan the Robot who will be making his debut in The Square on the Saturday.
