THE floating bridge will make the last of its short voyages in the new year before being retired from service.
The last crossing will be at around 12.30am on Tuesday from East Cowes to Cowes.
A replacement passenger launch, which will also carry bicycles, will start from 5am that day and run until the new £3.5 million vessel comes into service late in March.
Vehicles will be diverted through Newport during this time.
The new year schedule is as follows:
New Year’s Day — 6.30am to 12.30am (next day); Monday — 6.30am to 12.30am (next day).
